Immigration is the only reason the United States doesn't have a declining population like every other industrialized nation in the world. This fact is the only thing that is keeping us from total disaster during the massive retirement of baby boomers.


Also many illegals who work in this country work through social security numbers that belong to someone else, so they do pay taxes, and they certainly pay sales taxes on what they consume.
