I trap ferals and neuter them and I am near Indiana. You can respond to this ad if you'd like and I will try to help you. Trapping is fairly easy usually. You can't take them anywhere- no shelter is properly equipped to handle ferals and they will be put to sleep there- if the kittens are young enough, shelters with foster homes available may be able to work with you but it's unlikely because of the sheer number of friendly cats and kittens that are caught or surrendered. There are low cost clinics available that offer feral cat sterilization, such as the Spay/Neuter place in Penn Hills.

A cautionary note: the most common cause of feral cat deaths in PA is freezing or starving over the winter so if you're serious about helping these cats you/your mom need to be willing to provide food and shelter for them. Our three kids loved her, and the dogs/kids played real well together. Our dogs are in the house with house, but have plenty of time to run in our back yard (nice size).
I absolutely can not go over $500, so if you are asking more, please do not respond. But if you know of anywhere I can get one, please let me know. I have been searching for a few weeks now, and the best I can do in this range is dogs that 12 weeks old or older now, so they will be almost 5 months come Christmas.

I have seen a cockatoo chew a hole in its chest. It is a Shame that people do this to these poor animals. And yes parrots cost alot to keep them. These animals dont ask for this. In response to the post before this the women is right for the cockatoo to go thru another move would put more stress on him for him to go back to the original women just for her to rehome him again. I feel bad for this poor Guy. Please do your research before getting a cockatoo. What I have is a 125 gallon aquarium, practically brand new. no scratches on the glass inside or out. The silicone is still new and shiny, not dyed blue from ich meds or anything else. It sets on a strong wooden stand, not a particleboard one, but one using real wood. it has a large homemade canopy which totally hides the light fixture and filters.

it comes with about 150lbs of gravel in natural earth tones, a bunch of decorative stones, live plants including a HUGE sword plant, 2 Large decorations of the driftwood and rock structure variety. 2 filters keep the water clear. an aquaclear 110 with extra reticulated sponges, and an emperor 400.
it has 3 glass lids and a 2 buld fixture for lighting. a 200 watt sumbersible heater keeps it warm.

the fish that come with it are as follows
1 electric blue cichlid
1 convict cichlid female
4 bala sharks
5 red sharks
4 pictus cats
8 rainbow darters
10 black skirt tetras
18-20 tiger barbs
a mess of convict cichlid fry
and an oscar about 8" long
a large crawdad also lives in the tank as well as a minnow my son caught in the creek 4 months ago.

Things that will go with the setup when its sold but not currently in use

30 gallon long custom sump
mag drive 18 1800gph water pump
2 large powerheads
under gravel filter plates for a 125
air pump
tubes, nets
a home built overflow and instructions to build your own if you wish
10 gallon tank with cheapy filter used as an isolation tank(just used for cichlid fry)
anything else fish related here i.e. plastic bin of different stuff, pvc pipe fittings for building overflow, tube protectors, etc

I want $400 for all of this. this is a steal and a half if you price it all out. bring a strong friend because the tank is HEAVY.... this isnt some wimpy 55 gallon, the glass is THICK. you tear it down and i might help some, but I'd rather not destroy my setup. bring either a truck or a van with seats removed because the tank is 6 feet long, as is the stand and canopy. i have plastic bins to put the fish and plants in. cash up front, because this is a long process to tear down, and if you start, you are going to finish and not change your mind halfway through.

My boyfriend adopted her for my birthday in December '08 (from the Humane Society). She is ten years old, GREAT with people…but not with other animals. She hid for the first five months that we had her because we had two other cats, and then one of my roommates got a dog. He was the last straw. She ran outside and has been living on our porch/deck ever since. We feed her and brush her regularly, and she sometimes tries to come back inside…until she sees another cat. She is content to sleep in the sun and greet anyone who comes to our house.

Our lease for the house is up in December and we will not be able to take Princess with us (we are moving into a one bedroom apartment where her stress from the other cats will be too much). I am trying on my own to find her a home, and I would rather not put a random post on Craigslist, etc. to get someone to take her but I have been unable to get anyone to adpot her. I definitely don't want to take her back to the Humane Society, but I will have to if no one is willing to take her.

She MUST be an only child. She does not do well with other cats or dogs. She is not violent, only scared.

If you know anyone who has no other animals but would be content with one very loving kitty, please let me know or have them contact me.
