I had bought this bike about a year ago with the intent to do a full cafe racer set up on it. Unfortunately, money is just too tight right now so it has to go to take care of some other bills. For those that do no know, this a street legal, parallel twin cylinder 2-stroke. The motor was more or less the basis for the Banshee quad so if you are familiar with that, you have some idea of how the bike performs. This one is in great condition for it's age, runs well, has good compression, and everything electrical and mechanical works. Mileage is just a hair under 10,000 which is pretty low considering it is 35 years old.

I recently cleaned both carbs, rebuilt the petcock (which leaked) with new gaskets and screws, and have run about 2-3 tanks of gas with Sea Foam through it. The petcock is currently bypassed because the previous owner decided to put 2 separate gas feed tubes on it. Each has it's own filter and on/off switch. The inside of the tank has been coated to rustproof it as well. I was going to just bypass the 2 tubes and go back to usin the petcock, but never got around to it. Either will work. The bike has been run with Yamalube via the oil injection system which works great. I have the matching original right side mirror as well, but it will need to be attached.

This is a very fun bike to ride: light and quick. The suspension is rather soft but there are no leaks or anything. About the only thing needed is tires which you can get for about $100. I have lowered the price to $900. I am open to reasonable offers too. I have a clear title in hand. If you are interested, please respond through this add or call my cell at 412-607-3067.

1986 SUZUKI LT250R QUAD WINTER PROJECT (MOON TWP., PA) $800

I've got a 1986 Suzuki LT250R that needs a new home. It is a non-running (well, it runs but won't shift) quad that would be a nice winter project for someone. It was one for me four years ago when I resurrected it from the junkyard. I've got too many other things going on to spend the time on it now. Check the pictures for an idea of what shape it's in. The quad has been sitting in a warehouse since the tranny went three years back. I have a used gear set and shift forks in case anything in there is broken but I never tore into it to see what the problem was.
The plastic is faded and cracked (stitched up, of course) but I sandblasted the frame and painted it. Everything else was torn down, cleaned and greased. Broken stuff was replaced and the engine cases were sandblasted and painted. It has almost new ITP Razor tires, Progressive front shocks with rezzies (one is leaking), the '87 and up swingarm and bearing carrier, a shock rebuilt by ProAction, nerf bars, new levers and grips. There is probably other things that I forgot.
There is a long list of spare parts including 2 new pistons (.80 and 1.00) and a spare jug. The down side here is the current bore is 1.00 on both jugs and compression is not up to what it should be so a resleeve is in the future. Also, the A-arms need their bearings/bushings replaced. There are tie-rods, extra carb, CDI, and a Clymer manual. Everything that I have for this quad goes with it. More pics available if you ask

My 2001 49cc Tomos Targa moped is in excellent original condition. Everything works as it should. This Targa starts on the first kick! It only has 550 original miles, has been adult owned and maintained since new, and as a result the engine has plenty of pep! The bike is all stock, with no modifications of any sort. This moped does have a clean PA title. If your State requires this kind of paperwork, you will have no problems transferring ownership. This Tomos bike rides as good as it looks! The Tomos Targa has a 2 speed automatic transmission with auto oil injection. You do not have to premix the fuel with the oil. Original invoice in 2001 for this moped cost over $1200.00. This is a great price as the bike is essentially the same as the day it was bought new. This is a really clean Tomos moped ready to enjoy at a great price. New For 2009 is the P160-R 12" /14" Piranha Pit bike. For 2009 Piranha Has shed away its old KLX body and seat for sleeker new look. Running on Honda CRF70 Plastics, seat, and gas tank, the new Piranha has a larger feel to it. The Seat, body, and tank are all wider than the older KLX110 style and give the rider more to hold onto and maneuver the bike.

This years model also runs the newest design 160cc motor / oil cooler. This motor spins up faster than last years motor and provides predictable ample power thanks to a genuine Mikuni Japan VM24 roundslide carburetor. Even more power can be attained through an upgrade to a slightly larger carburetor.

Some other notable features are the Made in USA Uni Angled air filter and ultra low temp fuel line also made in the USA.

The P160-R is securely held by a white cradle frame and detachable subframe. The guys were on their toes this year. The new subframe goes all the way to the back of the fender preventing break offs and giving a secure place to grab.

Rear suspension is handled by a DNM rebound/compression adjustable rear shock and floats effortlessly through all terrain. Front Suspensions has taken a big upgrade to a larger ZL fork tube with both compression and rebound adjustments. The ZL fork tubes still retain the 45/48mm outer diameters so they can easily be changed to Marzocchi Shivers. This was kept in mind when the bike was designed. However, after interviewing several riders on our test track, the overall oppinion is that the new ZL forks felt better than previous imported Marzocchi shivers found on other import bikes

Controls are handled by genuine Pro Taper bars and Pro Taper Pillow Top grips with matching red end protectors (nice touch). The bars are accompanied by a super slick quarter turn throttle featuring a window for cable view and red billet roller inside. Brake and clutch levers are of aluminum construction and have reach adjustment and break-away feature much like that of ASV levers.

Braking is handled by dual piston front and single piston rear systems running stainless steel braid hydraulic lines. The rear brake pedal is an over the peg style made of billet aluminum.

One of the major features of this years Piranha are the wheels. The P160-R runs 7116 Grade aluminum alloy rims on billet aluminum hubs. This is a Piranha exclusive. I guess these guys take their wheels seriously. Although the wheels are manufactured overseas, they are tested by an independent laboratory in the USA to verify the build construction of their rims and the grade of aluminum.

Piranha has built an amazing race machine in the new P160-R. Most Notable features are
