When Pippin runs out, he is gone for a couple of hours at most. During that time I see him running around, he'll even come back to the house just to sit on the porch or play in the yard before running around again and then coming inside. He never leaves the area and never goes on the main road.
He is extremely friendly with people, kids and other animals (both cats and dogs). He doesn't bite, never has. He's never even snapped at a person.
Pippin is a 4 year old Schipperke. He is not a very common breed and is pretty distinguishable when you see him. He is completely black, pitch black in fact. He was groomed a few weeks back, so you should be able to tell that he's had a haircut. He has no tail to speak of, perky ears and weighs about 20 pounds.
Pippin had no ID tags on, just a silver choke chain.
Pippin also suffers from epilepsy. He has seizures when he is frightened which usually happens during thunderstorms. The only way to keep his seizures from getting completely out of control is to keep him calm and soothe him when he is frightened.
