I am in no way trying to be confrontational, but this really hits a nerve with me considering how hard we nannies work to earn our money and we do it because we love children. Nannies do not babysit, they take care of someone's children by nuturing, pampering and attending to their utmost needs during the day. Have you ever seen the movie "The Sound of Music"? The nanny did not clean, cook or run errands. The husband had a housekeeper to do the cooking and cleaning. The nanny was totally in charge of the children by attending to their needs which took up her entire day. * Designating a staff person who is responsible for compliance with this chapter in the Director�s absence.
* Coordinating and planning daily activities with the group supervisors or with the assistant group supervisors in school-age program.
* Overall program planning.
* Written evaluation of staff persons on a regular basis, a minimum of one evaluation every 12 months.

The Director shall have performed in that capacity, preferably operating a large day care center, for at least 2 years. High level of enthusiasm, passion for the day care work, high level of education and communication (written and verbal) skills, and supervisory skills are required. A bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 10 year of experience working with young children, is required.

This is a full time position.

The salary will be $35,000 to $45,000 depending upon education, knowledge, skills, and experience.

I am looking for a sitter for my 5 and 6 year old so I can enjoy the occasional night out. 1-2 evenings a month, maybe more if everything works out.

My children are well behaved and self sufficiant. Might require help pouring a cup of milk from time to time or reaching a snack on the top shelf...but can get themselves ready for bed and clean up after themselves etc.

Since I enjoy the time I get to spend with my kids I probably wouldn't need someone to start until almost bed time. Probably around 8 or 9 and would need someone basically to make sure they were safe until I got home. By this time at night I let them start watching some TV so your job would be pretty easy.

Your own transportation is required unless you would be able to spend the night. I would also be willing to drop the kids off at your home, if you wouldn't mind an over night! Clearances, refrences and experience perfered but this may also be a great job for a student just starting out with child care since we are so low key.

Loves people and is very easy to take care of.

I prefer a non-smoking environment. I smoke, but not around my son and I ask the same of anyone who takes care of him.
Obviously I also ask that you don't drink or do drugs, but I think that's a given.
Pets are fine. My son loves animals and is not frightened by them at all.
He does grab, so please be sure that your pet will not bite him if he tugs their fur.

I ask that you fill out a chart saying when he ate, was changed, bathed or given any medicine each day.
I will leave all the contact information with you if there are any problems.

Most days, I will probably be done with work by noon. I can give an estimated schedule each week.
I work every other Friday as of right now, but that will probably change to every Friday eventually.
I clean houses, so my schedule is tentative. There are times when I will add on an extra job, or my client for the day will cancel and I will be off work.

I'm also a model and photographer.
If you are able to watch him at random times when I have a photoshoot, you will be paid extra for it that day.
My shoots are usually in the evenings during the week.
As far as weekends go, there may be a day here or there that I will need a sitter, so I would like someone who would be able to do that.
You would be given advance notice of course.

My mother will also be able to pick him up if I am working later than 3:30pm.
There are certain days that she can watch him if she isn't working and I will let you know ahead of time what days they are.

I can pay at the end of every week or every two weeks on my payday, whatever you prefer.

I'm 24 and pretty easy going. I have tattoos and piercings, so I'm not judgmental about appearance at all.
