So, I updating my former posts... read below... (Heaps of Fabric/Tons of Fabric Ads...those are me), to let you know that in addition to the
heaps and tons of Amazing fabrics, this weekend at the Flea Market at Rossi's Pop Up Mart in North Versailles, we'll be introducing the $5,$10,$15,$20 flat fold fabric sale!
All this means is that the super large bolts of fabric will be taken off, folded up nice and neat and flat, and sold at flat rates... yards smards...(I just made the latter word up), pick a pile, could be between 3 and 10 yards of fabric, and depending on the size you will go home with some Amazing, vintage, out of print, rare, or not so rare flat folds of specialty fabrics, for clothing, curtains, present wrapping... dress making ... really wherever your imagination can go. the most important thing is to utilize the imagination that you have and come visit us!
I happen to love teachers, and believe that they are ridiculously underpaid overworked miracle workers, the good ones... So this week I introduce Teachers get %16 off their total. So if you're working projects with students and you need fiber! fabric, thread trim... sewing stuff... come on through, a little easier on the pocket book.
also don't forget to pass the message on, if you know fabric-a-holics, rare print, out of print, interesting print collectors, teachers, costume makers, house beautiful makers...imaginative people who like to treasure hunt, tell them also.
and sewing machines starting at $30 bucks. we are really working hard to begin to lighten the load on my mama's studio and storage...
a bit of back story.
my parents live on a ranch. the ranch has an old horse riding arena, the riding arena is filled with 5000 boxes of fabric that were never opened
when my folks moved to the 'burgh. some of the fabric needs a good wash, but it is amazing material, JoAnns fabric and craft has NOTHING on this collection.
every week, my dad and I go into the riding arena, bring about 30 more boxes out to the flea market, we up pack load up shelves and get to meet really cool people, artists,
teachers, mama's and daddy's who sew, while they are looking for some great material. my mama makes quilts and fiber art.
At times it's hard for her to let the fabric go, so she keeps the batiks, the african fabrics, the extremely rare things, and we call it a day.
come through and visit us.
PS
we have a long arm JUKI quilting machine on the frame for sale also... you know you want a quilting machine.
next week I will add pictures! write if you have questions. super peace.
