Good Morning!

this is an updated re-post!

My mama is selling some of her collection of fabric, notions and sewing machines. She is a master quilter, fiber artist and sewer. We have opened up a little pop-up store at rossi's flea market in North Versailles near Wal Mart, the flea market is open 8am- 4pm, Saturday and Sunday. Some of you've written me about not having so much time on the weekends, and my mama is thinking about opening up her studio and storage space one day a week as a gathering, buying, sewing and quilting space. I will let you know. My mama has more than 400 sewing machines, a righteous collection of antique machines built like old cadillacs, and newer fierce machines that sew as though they are on rails. I am bringing out more machines this weekend.

My mama is doing a FREE FREE MOTION machine quilting Demo Saturday and Sunday at 1pm.

Here's what we have

Sewing Machines... for the starter and pro: a Juki long arm quilting machine, Singer, Pfaff, New Home Bernina, ( I'm not certain the model of Bernina, she's reluctant to let a lot of those go because they are apparently amazing... I believe i'll be able to bring out a couple this weekend. If you're interested come in.

Fabric so much Fabric! What can I say. Do you love Fabric? Lots and lots of Fabric!

Ribbon, Trim... My mother has whole bunch of this old quilting blanket trim, I remember it from about 25 years ago... it's interesting... Lots of Fabric samples, wool, silk, tapestry. great for artists... for folks with a sense of creative adventure... you know so many possibilities.

I am looking through boxes today, (back story... when we moved here about 80% of my mama's fabric and notion boxes went unopened. Heart breaking a bit, but it just gave her the opportunity to find more fabric shops and buy more... which is what she loves to do!)
