Body-Centered Meditation and Yoga As paradoxical as it may seem, one of the most direct and powerful ways to inner peace and clarity is through cultivation of the body. It's been said that the body is merely that part of the soul or spirit that is plainly visible and tangible. Everything that we experience and grow from has an effect on the body. Every experience leaves traces. They may be subtle, but they are real and they accumulate. So the more we feel anger, the easier it is for us to feel anger. The more we feel peaceful, the more easily we can revisit peace - even in a chaotic world. Beyond that, there are many benefits of having a calm center. Better health, more clarity, and a greater sense of ease are just a few. Join us as we explore various techniques drawn from Kriya yoga, tantra, and shamanism. This is an on-going group that is also open to newcomers. We combine group discussion of triumphs and challenges and different techniques with active exploration of meditation and yoga. All are welcome. Yoga mats are not necessary. Comfortable clothing suitable for bending and stretching is recommended. Come create together and share in the warmth, welcome, and wisdom.
